Callie
Senior Stylist & Salon Owner
Callie started working at Sublime in 2011 and took over ownership of the salon in 2013.
Callie is extremely passionate about the hair & beauty industry and loves to make every client feel fabulous. Callie loves to make you and your hair feel amazing whether you are having a total make over or just a touch up.
Volunteer work includes many charity events such as Stars of Newcastle from 2015 to 2020 and for many years Callie was the go to person for any cancer council fund raisers in Newcastle such as shave for cures, Got Your Back Sista, etc.
Other outstanding achievements include backstage hair and makeup for 13 years for productions including Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, Le Miserables, Wicked, Priscilla, A Gentlemens Guide to Love and Murder to name a few. Callie also recently worked at the Podcast awards in the hair and beauty bar for this event.
Callie is a problem solver, any problems you are having with your hair, she makes it her mission to find the solution, whether it be a home care regime or styling issue.

Shelbie
Salon Coordinator/Manager
Shelbie has been hairdressing for 5 years and her favourite part of her job is connecting with clients and helping them feel they’re most beautiful.
She loves everything about hairdressing from creative textured looks to classic smooth styles. Education and training is her favourite aspect, whether that’s for her client, the team or herself.

Tahlia
Senior Stylist
Tahlia is a naturally gifted stylist who has recently qualified who joined the Sublime team in 2020. Tahlia has been working extremely hard to refine her skills in the industry. Tahlia is passionate about everything hair and makeup and extremely driven to learn and make clients feel stunning.
Tahlia is trained in all aspects of hairdressing such as hair styling, cuts, colours, and foils. Since working at Sublime, Tahlia has completed online training courses - lash lifts, henna brows, brow laminations and is currently mastering the art of nails.
In 2021 she won a C.O.N.D.A. Award for excellence in hair and makeup (for Wicked).

Francina
Senior Stylist
Francina has recently joined the team and has been working in the industry for over 45 years.
Francina bought her first business in 1990 and since has had 9 salons from Diamond Beach, Forster, Smith's Lake and Blackhead.
In 2010, 2011 and 2012 Francina was the official stylist for the Flair Fashion Awards, is a Frames trained colour technician and won Best Hairdresser on the Mid North Coast in 2021.
The Mid North Coast Council recognised Francina's efforts in business through Covid and she continues to engage in various charity work.
Francina's skills include ladies styling, men's barbering, facial waxing, lash and brow tinting and along with years of experience, is an intensely passionate stylist.

Lany
Emerging Sylist/Lash Technician/Acupressure Therapist
Lany joined our team in February 2023 and is now working towards getting her Australian qualifications. Lany has 11 years industry experience in her country and is in the process of retraining in Australia, studying to become a hairdresser.
Lany offers the most amazing facial acupressure and massages, also has years of experience in shampoo, blow drys and styles.
Lany also offers beauty services, lash lift & tints, henna brows, brow lamination, facial waxing & tinting, express facials and manicures, make up.
Since being with us, Lany has attended extensive training courses in Eye lash extensions, Nak training courses colour and product training. Bhave colour and keratin taming training.
We are currently focusing on training in men's cutting, further training in ladies cutting and in the coming months we plan to continue further training in colour & foiling services.
Lany is getting used to our fabulous Nak and Bhave colour. Lany is extremely willing to learn and is proving her self to be a fast learner and very passionate about the hair and beauty industry.
Bookings available with Lany on Tuesdays - Fridays between 8am-4pm and Saturdays 8am-3pm.

Lucy
Emerging Stylist
Lucy joined the team in March 2023 and loves connecting with her clients and making them feel fabulous.
Lucy has been trained in some aspects of beauty such as facial waxing and tinting, lash lifts, brow henna and lamination, make up application.
During her time with us Lucy has been training in blow drying, hair styling, hair colouring, men's cutting and keratin taming and has recently started TAFE to continue to gain more knowledge of the hairdressing fundamentals.

Michael
Emerging Stylist
Michael is the newest addition to the Sublime team, he has almost completed his 2nd year of his Apprenticeship.
Born and raised in Newcastle, he has recently returned to be closer to family. Over the past 2 & half years he has been working in some of Sydney's best salons.
Michael has been trained in make up and currently being trained in some aspects of beauty such as facial waxing and tinting, lash lifts, brow henna and amination.
Michael is currently gaining further training in blow drying, hair styling, hair colouring, men's/ women's cutting and keratin taming and has almost completed his certificate 3 at TAFE and will be continuing on to complete his final semester to gain even more knowledge of the hairdressing fundamentals.

Lucinda
Lash Technician
Lucinda is new to the industry and starting out her fabulous lash business in Sublime in our new beauty room on Fridays and some Saturdays. Lucinda is a wedding celebrant who is busy making dreams come true and enthusistic to make you look your best ever! With lashes, makeup and facial waxing all at your disposal at the one place.

Lauren
Beauty Therapist
Hi I'm Lauren, I have been in the beauty and hair industry for 20 years.
I am a qualified makeup artist and beauty therapist. I am very passionate with my work and love what I do. The best part of my job is making my clients look and feel amazing when they leave the salon.
I will be in the salon on Tuesdays and some Mondays until I build my clientele.
